Our charcoal color is obtained through a magically simple dye process that involved iron + water. It's colorfast, which means it won't rub off on your feet. Each pair is dyed-by-hand, so natural variation in color tone is to be expected.

Each pair is made by master shoemakers in the shoes’ town of origin: Athani, India. The leather keeps getting softer, richer, and custom-formed to your foot the more you wear them.

They are made by hand, one shoe at a time. Naturally, there is variation to each pair and some nuance in the fit of each style.

Woven Flats run big and fit best when they start out tight. Take a full size down. For example, if you’re normally a 7, order a 6.

At first, your shoes may feel stiff or too tight. The break-in is a sign of quality shoes and handmade leather. To get past the initial sting get your bare feet wet then wear them for 30 minutes.
