Experience
I would Describe my personal décor style as a bit of an eclectic mix. I gravitate towards bohemian and transitional the most and love using organic elements with lots of texture to create a cozy space.
I have always enjoyed being creative. After getting married and starting a family, I decided to make our house a home with little to no experience in styling or DIY. That is when I realized I had a passion for design. I love creating beautiful spaces on a budget and the feeling of empowerment that comes from using power tools and making things from scratch.
Over the last seven years I have gone from just hanging my own wall décor to laying flooring, tiling, building an electric fireplace from scratch and more. I typically learn as I go through trial and error and have several projects going on at any given time.
I began sharing my home journey about two years ago on my bog, 608 Interiors. My goal is to inspire you to make your space a home regardless of its size or your budget and to find joy in the process along the way.
