I know I will wear this skirt a lot!
What I love about it: the fabric is sturdy, has a linen look, but doesn't wrinkle as badly as pure linen, and has pockets! The waist is comfy and stays in place. The skirt is full, which I like.
What I don't love: The skirt was super long! I am 5'8" tall and it drug on the floor when I got it. I don't wear heals, so I hemmed it. I took about 3" off and the photo is taken after hemming it. After washing it, the fabric unraveled a bit at the top of the slit (photo shown). I will do some repair before washing again. I am bummed to have spent so much time sewing on a brand new item.
What I am unsure about: the slits. They aren't necessary for helping me move in the skirt, because the skirt is quite full. Yet they don't show my legs when sitting, so they don't cause a problem. I may sew them closed. Still deciding.
Wonderful fabric with a nice weight to it. It is long on me but I'm 5'1.5 so I'll have to wear heeled shoes but it's great for taller gals. Love the slits and the dark navy color. The waist and is very comfortable too.
